HARDWARE

Hardware is one sector which is interesting to discuss. The reason is: Huawei Ascend Mate is the first phablet products that use chipsets from Huawei namely Huawei K3V2 chipset.



While the processor used is Cortex A9 with 1.5 GHz clockspeed. May look inferior compared to the flagship product from another vendor, but to be superior when compared with the segment that has the same price level. And with this specification, Ascend Mate can run Android without any serious problems.



CONNECTIVITY

For connectivity, Ascend Mate supports HSDPA data path connectivity with download speeds up to 42 Mbps. There is also WiFi and DLNA which allows users to easily play your photos, videos and music from a device that also has a DLNA connection or view content from your phone to your TV or computer that also supports DLNA.



Micro-USB port on the Huawei Ascend Mate also supports MHL, so with the help of MHL cable, phablet can connect to an HDTV or other display device via HDMI. For browsing the internet, there are two web browser, Default Browser and Chrome which has many features and works well.



CAMERA

Huawei Ascend Mate has a primary 8 MP camera and a 1 MP secondary camera. Interface on the camera looks standard, there is a video switch, virtual shutter button and a shortcut to the gallery which is located on the right. While on the left, there are several shooting modes like effects and settings. Features of the camera include Ascend Mate: 8 shooting mode options are also included Panorama mode, HDR and Burst. CONCLUSION

New users will have no trouble to use the Huawei Ascend Mate because it has a minimalist interface. But, for Android users, should be familiar because there is no App Drawer on the display screen. And this Huawei could be the one alternative because the price is cheaper and with the same capabilities as products from the other vendors.
