SMS can be used
to inform, share something
or to talk
through text. But,
it would be interesting if we could use multimedia
messaging through SMS. Because a
multimedia message, we can
put a special non-text
content such as videos,
apps, games, news
links, audio to your favorite location to
family and friends.
By using Windows Phone, we can easily make multimedia messaging. We do not
need to make arrangements or MMS data connection as found on conventional
mobile phones. For Windows Phone users, can perform multimedia messaging via
SMS in the following way:
Video & Photo Sharing
We can share videos or photos taken from the camera, the files are on the phone
memory and also send video or photos stored on SkyDrive or Facebook account.
- On the App List, select Messaging.
- Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.
- Select Attach and select a video or picture and specify the file to be added to a multimedia message.
- Then type in additional messages in the message box. Then select Send to send SMS containing additional video or photo.
For a new video
or photos taken with the camera, can be added directly
to the message by
shifting to the right to preview
the video or photos while still on active
camera mode, then select More > Share > Messaging.
Sharing Location
- Select Messaging from the App List.
- Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.
- Select Attach, then My Location > Allow GPS system to calculate the location data and digital map display automatically in SMS to be sent.
- Type additional message on the message box > Send. And SMS contains location information can be sent.
Send Voice Note or Voice Mail
- Select Messaging from the App List.
- Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.
- Select Attach > Voice Notes.
- Say the message to be delivered loud and clear by using the phone microphone. Then click Done.
- Then type in additional messages in the message box. Then select Send to send SMS messages containing additional sounds.
That's some way to send multimedia messages via SMS by using Windows Phone.
