HTC One E9+

Plastic Body, Premium Features





HTC adds HTC One E9+ to their product portfolio in the ranks of high-end smartphones. HTC  E9+ models appeared wrapped in plastic material. But carrying premium specifications and premium design. Color options are available in Meteor Grey, Classic Rose Gold and Gold Sephia, with typical dual-tone style that already implemented on HTC M9.

The best thing offered by the HTC One E9+ is a 5.5-inch screen Quad HD (2560x1440). This is the first time for HTC, considering that the previous flagship product "stuck" with a 1080p panel. in terms of hardware, the HTC One E9+ powered with 64-bit MT6795M Octa-core 2GHz  by MediaTek, and PowerVR G6200 GPU. The operating system is identical to the HTC M9, running Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI.

Even more exciting is the 20MP camera embedded on the back of the HTC One E9+, which looks elegant and sturdy with a bulge lens module. On the front side there is a 4MP HTC Ultrapixel camera and BoomSound speakers facing forward. There is a possibility of this smartphone will come with lower specs, along with a 1080p screen and 13MP camera, labeled HTC E9 without the "Plus".
There's still no news on pricing or when this smartphone will be available. However, if the E9 series is something special like E8 last year, this could be that this smartphone will focus on the Asian market only.

    I really like HTC smartphones, I think their smartphones have powerful hardware specs and nice design. Too bad the company cant keep up to compete against big player in the worldwide market anyway. It's a bit weird though a new competitor like Xiaomi has been successfully enter the tight market and able to gain stable market share since.
