MULTIMEDIA SMS USING WINDOWS PHONE

 

SMS can be used to inform, share something or to talk through text. But, it would be interesting if we could use multimedia messaging through SMS. Because a multimedia message, we can put a special non-text content such as videos, apps, games, news links, audio to your favorite location to family and friends.

By using Windows Phone, we can easily make multimedia messaging. We do not need to make arrangements or MMS data connection as found on conventional mobile phones. For Windows Phone users, can perform multimedia messaging via SMS in the following way:

Video & Photo Sharing

We can share videos or photos taken from the camera, the files are on the phone memory and also send video or photos stored on SkyDrive or Facebook account.

• On the App List, select Messaging.

• Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.

• Select Attach and select a video or picture and specify the file to be added to a multimedia message.

• Then type in additional messages in the message box. Then select Send to send SMS containing additional video or photo.

For a new video or photos taken with the camera, can be added directly to the message by shifting to the right to preview the video or photos while still on active camera mode, then select More > Share > Messaging.

Sharing Location

• Select Messaging from the App List.

• Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.

• Select Attach, then My Location > Allow GPS system to calculate the location data and digital map display automatically in SMS to be sent.

• Type additional message on the message box > Send. And SMS contains location information can be sent.

 

Send Voice Note or Voice Mail

• Select Messaging from the App List.

• Select New and type the destination name, email address or telephone number in the "To" field.

• Select Attach > Voice Notes.

• Say the message to be delivered loud and clear by using the phone microphone. Then click Done.

• Then type in additional messages in the message box. Then select Send to send SMS messages containing additional sounds.

That's some way to send multimedia messages via SMS by using Windows Phone.

HOW TO SAVE THE BLACKBERRY Z10 BATTERY

 

In normal use, the battery is fully charged smartphone that can be used for activities for a full day or 24 hours. But, the situation will be a problem when we take a trip and forgot to bring the Power Bank. For Blackberry Z10 users, there are several ways to save your smartphone battery.

Choosing Connectivity Features

Blackberry Z10 is one smartphone that has a multitude of connectivity options. To make baterry savings, we can select certain features that are enabled and some features are turned off because it is not too important to use the time to travel like WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth. Select Menu Settings > Network conections.

Reduce Screen Brightness

The screen brightness affects battery power. The more bright smartphone screen, the more battery power is used. Because Blackberry Z10 does not have Auto Brightnes feature that serves to adjust the screen brightness according to ambient light conditions, we can do it manually by selecting Menu Settings > Display. Change the brightness of the screen to be the smallest so that we can save the cell phone battery.

Reduce Screen Time Out

Set the screen to turn off automatically by determining the time off. Less time is selected, the more efficient use of the battery. Select Menu Settings > Display > set time.

Using Hostler

Using accessories like Blackberry Z10 hostler. By using Hostler, Blackberry locks automatically. And it could save the smartphone battery. As for the manual way, we can lock Blackberry by pressing the Lock button located on the top side of the phone.

Changing Refresh Settings Application

Some applications informative and retrieve data from the Internet automatically and has a time interval to refresh the information displayed. For that, change the refresh time option so that the application is not too often to update the information by pulling data automatically. These settings are different on the menu for some types of applications. But in general can be found in the Settings Menu.

Using IMAP

Change Exchange ActiveSync settings to settings IMAP when adding email account on Blackberry Z10. The email feature also refreshes automatically and simultaneously to synchronize incoming email. And we can set the interval time synchronization using IMAP settings. At additions account settings: Settings > Accounts > Add Account, select Advance located under the screen and click IMAP. After adding the required email account information, scroll to the bottom and set the interval as needed and may also choose not to enable the Push Email on the menu.

Closing The Active Frame

Blackberry Z10 has an advantage in True Multitasking ability. As long as an application is not closed, then the application will continue to run in the background and appears as Active Frame found on the special panel on the homescreen. The application still uses the processor and RAM that causes reduced battery power. It is better to close running applications to save the smartphone battery.

Changing Network

Change the network settings to 2G when the phone battery is in critical condition. These changes could extend your current Blackberry Z10. Select Menu Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network.

Now, to do photo editing can be easily done using a smartphone. We do not need to use a computer to create with photoshop. Because each operating system has a lot of options for photo editing. But, we will be a little difficult to find the optimal application like Photoshop is commonly used on laptop or computer.

One application was released by Adobe Photoshop Express. At first, this application is very simple when compared to Photoshop for PC applications. For smartphones,  just have a picture manager, viewer and a number of tools and instant photo effects. And now, Photoshop Express can be used for photo editing as using photoshop with PC. And there are also the application of the latest Adobe Photoshop issued for smartphones as Adobe Photoshop Touch.

Edit Photos Using Adobe Photoshop Touch

At first, this application specifically made for the tablet version. And now, can be used for smartphones. So, we can easily perform photo editing anywhere using the mobile phone.

Adobe Photoshop Touch has a variety of options and 36 different effects. By using this application, we can put together a photo, give effect to, share pictures or photos, create layers, add text graphics. Moreover, we can use a variety of tools such as selection, adjustment, filters, effects and painting are also Camera Fill feature. One interesting tool is the Scribble Selection. This tool can be used to select the part of the photo to be issued by way of write off. Then use the selected part to combine images.

Adobe Photoshop Touch supports up to 12-megapixel photos. • Install and run the application. The option to specify the new photo gallery or blank. Tap Photo Library to edit photos stored in the smartphone memory. Select the image.

• In the work area, the selected photo will appear. Some edit menu will appear at the top, while the toolbox menu is listed below. For the Adjustment menu, can be directly used. Open Adjustment.

• Adjustment menu has several tools such as those in Photoshop PC. There are setting Saturation, Levels, temperature, and other Curve. While the Auto Fix is used to instant edit. To set Dark and bright can use Level.

• To use Level, it’s simply by regulating the sliders as found in Photoshop PC. We can also use another facilities such as the Curve, White Balance as we use computers.

• In the Photoshop Touch applications, there are also Layer and a few effects shots. Or we can use the Selection Tool by tapping the icon on the left menu below and select the dotted line.

• Select the type of selection such as the Lasso Tool. We can select images using a finger or stylus. When finished, we can do some editing on the photos exactly as we did using Photoshop PC.

Edit Photos Using Photoshop Express

Photoshop Express is an online photo editing service, but can be accessed using mobile applications such as Android, iPhone and iPad. We can do photo editing sourced from photo albums, social media accounts. Photoshop Express app is easy to use as using Photoshop Elements application. The easy way to use is:

• Install and run the application. To edit photos from internal memory smartphone, select PHONE. Select Edit and select an image to be edited. Selected image appears with some edit icons.

• If you want to do cropping, select Crop. To straighten the image, select Straighten. Select Rotate to rotate the image or select Flip to create a mirror image.

• Lighting and coloring photos found on the second menu icons. We can do Exposure, Tint, Saturation, Contrast, White Balance, and Brightness. If you had to choose one option edit, click the V.

• Soft Focus effect found on the third menu icon. While the four menu icons, there is the option of effects and frames.
