SYMBIAN VS SMARTPHONE: Sharing Music Fun With Symbian

One day on the sidelines of a break in an office, a group of employees were in the cafeteria for lunch. An employee named Rachel fun playing phones with Symbian ^ 3 (NOKIA 600). Two other employees, namely Jack and Mike too busy playing with their smartphones the Samsung Galaxy S4 new. With a cocky, Jack and Mike show off their advantages new smartphone features to Rachel.

One feature that considered advanced is Group Play with the Galaxy S4 that can be connected with each other, and can play the same features. Such as music player or Android game that can be played along to some of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (MULTIPLAYER).

Rachel felt left out because her mobile phones are owned including an older that has been using, and can not compete with Jack and Mike. Even sadder, Rachel ever read a story that says that "Symbian has been the Dead".

But Rachel is not desperate, because she's sure that the multiplayer technology is actually already on the phone that she had. Rachel told Jack and Mike that the technology contained in the Galaxy S4 are nothing new.

"In Symbian phones there are also features that can share music," said Rachel "In fact not only fellow Symbian phones only, but to all phone features an FM Radio."

It is true what is said by Rachel. Features on the Symbian phones are FM Transmitter. And how to use Group Play Symbian, let's see.
  • Before Rachel did a demonstration on Jack and Mike, she already has some music files on the phone. Her Playlist already seems full for current accompany her to go to the office or home office.
  • Rachel always activate the music player available on Symbian phones. Through the homescreen, go to the menu, and select Music Player.
  • Then Rachel played one collection of songs that is: When I see You Smile from Bad English.
  • After that she chose the menu option at the bottom right and select Play via Radio.
  • In the setting, there are several settings to enable the FM Transmitter and Frequency. Rachel set the frequency to 92.00Mhz (this setting is set according to the desired frequency).
  • After that, she activates Play via Radio feature by changing the status to On, press Yes to continue.
  • Then the FM Transmitter feature will enable the frequency has been set to emit a song playing on the radio waves to the Symbian mobile phone. At that time all of radio lead to the same wavelength and can listen to songs that are emitted from Rachel's Symbian phones. (About 2 meters with no obstructions such as walls, electronic devices, public radio stations, this may cause the transmission).

Rachel then proudly told Jack and Mike who have access to frequencies that made by Rachel with their smartphone Samsung Galaxy S4.

"Now, anyone who has a mobile phone with FM radio? Try to activate Fm radio and set the frequency to, "Rachel said to the other employees who were near their table.

And then some of the other employees, which features an FM radio and a direct approach to try. The results are all phones that access the FM radio frequency belongs to Rachel playing the song When I See You Smile.

After the incident, Jack and Mike are no longer boast advanced smartphones owned by them.

This story proves that how users should not feel left out as there are a lot of new phones and smartphones are emerging. Because the truth of the old types of phones can be used to the maximum, if it can be optimized as needed. So although Symbian is said to have been dead, Symbian is still reliable under certain conditions. Interesting right?
