A Xperia Z Series With More Reliable Performance And More Screen Width
Sony Xperia Z Ultra is the second Quad-Core smartphone from Sony Mobile with
a design concept that is not much different from previous series of the Sony
Xperia Z, including the dustproof and waterproof ability. In general, the
latest smartphone product is an upgraded version of the previous series and
there are some parts that are further improved, such as the display and
performance. Likewise with Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

Design

Xperia Z which has since formed box structure design with grooves along the
edge of the body that makes the Sony Xperia Z Ultra looks luxurious and elegant.
But, when compared with the other smartphone in same class, Xperia Z Ultra
tends to look stiff. For dimensions, this smartphone from Sony is having a
design that is quite large and can be regarded as a Phablet or Mini Tablet.
Even so, the size of which is applied to cell phones still make a comfortable
use with either hand.
A more impressive from the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is thickness of the
phone that super thin at 6.5 mm and makes this smartphone as the thinnest waterproof smartphone in the world today. The main both
sides protected with shatterproof glass coating and scratch
resistant and has the IP55/IP58 certified for dustproof and waterproof. In addition, technology Ultra Z Xperia is higher than Sony Xperia Z because it can survive in water as deep as 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
To reinforce the capabilities, Sony protects the port
microUSB charger or data cable, SIM card slot and MicroSD with special
rubberized cover to retain water during Xperia Ultra Z into the water. While
the 3.5 mm audio jack port does not use protection because the port on the side
can still hold water.
Display, OS & UI
As one of the flagship, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra uses Triluminos
technology plus X-Reality for Mobile, images and colors that appear on the
screen measuring 6.4 inches looks more natural and alive. Much clearer and
sharper than the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z.
Sony
Xperia Z Ultra screen supports full HD 1080p resolution with 342 ppi pixel density reach. But, the screen
character that owned by this
smartphone is still not able to conquer the direct sunlight. Means that the display will look dull and images faded while proper in the sunlight.
Xperia Z Ultra interface
is not much different from the Xperia Z, using Android Jelly Bean OS and UI from
Sony's platform at the beginning of the emergence of next-generation Xperia
which become one of the mainstays such as Mediascape and Timescape. Even so,
Sony Xperia Z Ultra has little idiosyncrasies like Home Screen and menu
structure of the whole can be displayed in landscape or portrait so that the
structure mode and the ability is to match with Android smartphone, tablet and
PC standard platform. To access the menu and browse through the applications
and features on the Xperia Z Ultra, can use fingers and stylus pen. Stylus is
used not need a special kind because it can use a pencil or pen, is different
with Samsung Galaxy Note that must use a special stylus pen.
Hardware
With the Qualcomm chipset used, Xperia Z Ultra can be said to be one of
the Quad-Core Snapdragon smartphone 800 of the first generation that has a processor speed up
to 2.2 GHz. Xperia Z Ultra processor performance is 75 percent more powerful and
resilient than Snapdragon S4 Pro that used by many middle-class
smartphone at this time. In addition,
Ultra Z Xperia powered with
Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB of RAM so it's pretty up to run all the systems including playing Full HD video and play games 3D/HD. And all of it can run smoothly and without lag.

battery up to 75 percent and lithium batteries are used as power source has a
capacity of 3050 mAh. With Stamina Mode feature, Sony gives the best battery
settings, so that performance pf smartphone is maximum because of good power
management. And these features make the battery life has increased several-fold
and durable.

Xperia Z Ultra provides an internal memory of 16 GB which will be divided
equally to the needs of the system, video / photo, audio, and other
applications. If still not enough, can use external memory slot microSD / SDHC
card with a maximum capacity of 64 GB.
Connectivity

and 150 Mbps for Download. As a premium smartphone, the phone also provides multiple connection options that fairly complete and can be used optimally.

theater for watching videos,
playing games and
so on more easily because there is a connection technology
via MHL or
NFC. And the
latest generation of Sony Xperia including Sony
Xperia Z Ultra,
this function is
called Screen Mirroring. In addition, if we have an external hard drive, can be read by Xperia Z Ultra because it supports
the ability to read with USB On The Go technology that found
on the MicroUSB port.
Camera
In function, the
Sony Xperia Z Ultra does not function
as a kind of smartphone a camera because the main camera support only
has a resolution of 8 MP, is smaller when
compared to the Sony Xperia
Z which has
13 MP camera
so that quality of the resulting image of Xperia Z Ultra is not
as good as the Xperia Z and so far when compared with the results of HTC's camera.
Photos Viewfinder

can also be said to be less than the maximum. The photo looks like a blur and become
less dense even if viewed on a PC, the image is pretty good for this class of camera
of 8 MP. Camera from Xperia Z Ultra also supported some of the most recent
settings that are not much different from the Xperia Z and can be used to get
the best photos, including camera sensor Exmor technology support RS and BSI Sensor
Light.

the phone has great performance but it is not preferable to many people bcz of following reasons:-
ReplyDelete1) the screen is too large to hold and holding in one hand and pocketing it the user feels a bit uncomfortable and affects the ergonomic factor
2)the camera does not have a flash which makes images shot in night or low light to blacken out or reduce the visibility causing the image to be blur.the images shot in daylight are crisp and clear
3)the camera is 8 MP ,the resolution factor counts for better image which is better in its counterpart sony xperia z
4)the battery life is average and the phone lasts for a day on normal usage
5)the sound quality is good but an additional speaker would be of great help
apart from that the phone has great features like
1)2.2 ghz snapdragon quad core processor which runs multiple apps with ease
2)a 6.4 inch screen which gives it a edge ahead of other smartphones
3)a better touch wiz for greater accessibility
4)the latest version of android which gives it a edge over note 2
what else to say sony have done a great job in various departments to make this phone a worthwhile experience.but it would be better to wait to buy until the release of note 3 next month or so
great opinion my friend....for the reason of "Not Preferable" I think this device has functions as phablet or tablet maybe..and for the battery, maybe you can try my tips on HOW TO SAVE BATTERY ON SONY XPERIA...
DeleteAnd for quality, as I wrote on Excess and Conclusion above..and Nokia trying to beat the market I think..because the market competition is very tight right now...
Can usb dongle throug itg cable work on this phone
